Divina Frau-Meigs is a Fulbright scholar and student at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, is professor of media sociology at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, France.

Dr. Vatchkov has been a Chairman of the State Agency for Information Technology and Communications since 2005. He also chairs the National Radio Frequency Council and the Interdepartmental Commission for Space Research.

Ed Klute is director of Mira Media since 1989. Mira Media, founded in 1987 by the national migrant organisations, is the Dutch National Centre of Expertise on Media and Diversity. Mira Media promotes the participation of immigrants in Dutch audiovisual, internet and print media. He is an advisor to the Council of Europe and the European Commission concerning Media and Diversity issues.

Fifi Schwarz is managing director of the Dutch Foundation for Newspapers in Education. As a representative for this organisation, she is member of ENPA's Working Group on Media Literacy and the Young Reader Committee of the World Association of Newspapers (WAN).

Georgios Kipouros was born in 1987, Greece. He recently completed his BA (Hons) in International and European Studies at Panteion University of Athens; his dissertation work with the title "The Media, Youth Participation and Politics" focused on the role of media in fostering youth participation.

Ioana Avadani is the executive director of the Center for Independent Journalism in Bucharest, Romania. She has an experience of over 15 years in the media field, having worked as a news agency editor, a TV editor and as a media developer with CIJ.

Jahri Lahti is the head on New Media, Finnish Broadcasting Company. He is responsible for Internet and Mobile services, development and innovations at Finnish Broadcasting Company.

Jelena Surculija graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade in 2000. In 2005, she obtained the Master of Laws (LLM in Computer and Communications Law), at Queen Mary, University of London, UK.

Malte Spitz is a member of the National Executive Committee of the German Greens (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen). He has been a member of the National Executive Committee of the German Green Party since 2006.

Robert Amlung is Head of Digital Strategy at ZDF. He joined Germany's national Public Broadcaster in 2001 as deputy head of New Media, taking charge of the whole department in 2006.

Srd Kisevic has been a youth activist since his college years. He started his professional path working on democracy-building projects in his native Croatia.

William Horsley is an experienced journalist and the international representative of the Association of European Journalists, an independent organisation of media professionals across Europe.

He speaks for the AEJ at the Council  of Europe and other international organisations and is chairman of the AEJ's UK Section.
