Birna Helgadottir

 

Birna Helgadottir was Senior Correspondent on the European newspaper between 1991-98, and subsequently freelanced for a wide range of media: the Economist, the Times, the Financial Times, Daily Express, wallpaper magazine, Harpers Bazaar, the BBC and Sky News. She has specialised inter alia in the 'new media' boom of the late 90s writing cover stories and columns for the Industry Standard. In September 2006 I retrained as a secondary school English teacher, and am now working at Lampton School in Hounslow (identified as one of the UK's twelve most Outstanding Schools in Challenging Circumstances).
